Au revoir belle piscine. Ce soir est le derniere dans cet hotel. Mais un autre est en Edinburgh dans une semaine! Goodbye beautiful pool. Last night in this hotel. But another one is in Edinburgh in one week! We have to change hotels tomorrow morning to a slightly different neighborhood with less food choices nearby but it’s supposed to have a little more room and a balcony opening onto the interior courtyard. It’s also closer to Jardin du Luxembourg. EDIT: ”courtyard” would be a stretch, and it rained nearly every day after we moved, so we got no use of the terrace, which had no roof; if it had had, it would have been dark in the adjoining room. Second hotel was a bit disappointing but it *was* closer to the park. And a store I wanted to go to.

Cluny Museum, Middle Ages. I particularly like the tapestries of the Lady and the Unicorn. They are mammoth, made I believe in the 1100-1400 era, and portray the five senses plus one which says something like “This is my desire” and no one knows if she meant something sensual or spiritual. I’m thinking, duh, five senses… and I love hearing best. She’s playing a pipe organ and her lady servant is working the bellows for her. The gals jammin’ on a Wednesday night.

We love the Cluny as well going to see if they have any concerts in the next week. Booked concert at Sainte Chappelle for Sat. Mozart et al.

Notre Dame of course. Thought they had finished it; they haven’t. Got to see a mass; beautiful. But tourists were pretty rude. Selfies with priest doing mass in background !!!?
